Our group decided to fixate our idea on fighting/knife crime.
Generally you associate knife crime with men and teen boys which is why i think it would be a good and interesting idea to incorporate women into our campaign advert.
my idea
The advert will consist of two groups of about 10 youths in each, everyone wearing 'hoodies' so their identities are completely hidden and it follows the codes and conventions of a typical gang member.
The first shot would be of the two groups approaching each other on a busy street, fiercely glaring at each other as they pass one another, walking in opposite directions and bouncing off each others shoulders.
The second shot would be the two groups meeting at opposite ends of a dark and deserted alley way. They come towards each other until they are about a metre apart, were they then abruptly come to a stand still. Here, a fight breaks out between the two groups. Seconds in and there is complete silence. Now, a shot of one of the hooded members from one of the groups if filmed holding a bloody knife in their shakey hand. Then, the camera pans out to a wide shot were we see everyone surrounding a hooded member lying on the floor, having been stabbed.
This shot fades out.
The last filmed shot... this shot starts focused on a fresh grave, which has just been covered with the mud, and a wooded cross stuck into it acting as the grave stone.
The camera then zooms onto a hooded person standing looking at the grave. There is nobody else around. The hooded person slowly pulls down their hood revealing them self to be a girl. She is standing completely still with no other emotion showing than the tears rolling down her face.
This shot fades out into black- writing would then come up saying 'anyone can be apart of knife crime, but wear does it end' This also fades out to black which is wear the advert will end.
